How Do I Know if My Child has Autism?
Does your child look at you when she/he wants to show you something? Do they look when you point to something? Do they use imagination to pretend play? A lack of these three behaviors may warrant further investigation and an evaluation by a qualified autism provider. There is no single test that can determine if your child has autism, and only a trained professional can give a definite diagnosis. However, below are some additional signs that you and your pediatrician should watch for. To make an appointment to have your child screened by our team of professionals, call 210-435-1000.
