2nd Annual Autism Community Forum

Educators, providers, and other autism specialists are invited to the Second Annual Autism Community Forum, sponsored by Autism Community Network (ACN), to hear from Amy Wetherby, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, a Distinguished Research Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences and Director of the Autism Institute in the College of Medicine, and the Laurel Schendel Professor of Communication Disorders at Florida State University. Dr. Wetherby has published extensively and presents regularly at national conventions on early detection and interventions of children with autism spectrum disorders. She is also the Principal Investigator of an early treatment study teaching parents of toddlers with autism spectrum disorders how to play in everyday activities and to support social communication.

CEUs Pending:
CEUs are offered at no extra charge, including Behavior Analysts (BCBA), and Speech-Language Pathologists (ASHA), Texas (TEA) Teachers. (Texas Occupational Therapists - TOTA pending.) CEUs also available in collaboration with the Ecumenical Center for Religion and Health, an approved provider of continuing education by the State of Texas for the following: LPC, LMFT, LSW, LCSW, and LMSW. This program offers up to 11 continuing education units for attendance.
